1250 lbs. tensile strength polyester pulling tapes are used to pull cable through conduit, mostly underground. Pulling tapes are thin, flat, very strong and are constructed of high strength woven polyester. These 1250 lbs. tensile strength pulling tapes come pre-lubricated with sequential foot markings. 1250 lbs. tensile strength pulling tape is offered is offered with a 1/2" width in  a 3000 foot spool.

Once the conduit is in place compressed air is used to send a "birdie" from one end of the conduit to the other which is attached to a very thin string. The pulling tape is then attached to the end of that string and pulled through the conduit. Once that is done, the cable is then attached to the tape and then pulled through the conduit.
